CARE INSTRUCTIONS
All O'EL products are made with quality materials and craftsmanship.
To ensure your pieces stand the test of time, please follow the care instructions below:
"Made by Hands..."
Due to the hand made nature of our products,​
we recommend to avoid applying heavy pressure on your O'EL pieces and avoid exposing to direct sunlight.
Leatherette /Up-cycled Leather
For products hand made from materials such as "Leatherette/Up-cycled Leather" , to maintain the luster and shiny finish of the material we suggest gently wiping and cleaning it with a synthetic leather conditioner or a automotive car seat leather conditioner cleaner. In case of contact to dirt or stain, you may also dab the material with a clean rug and diluted unscented liquid soap with 1:10 ratio (1 part liquid soap is to 10 parts of liquid) and wipe gently afterwards with a dry clean rug. Though the material may seem waterproof, do not allow the material to soak in water for this material is not water proof.

In storing products made from this material, please store the product in the provided packaging ( ex. box or dust bag).
Do not store in direct sunlight and excessive hot areas.​
Cow Hide Leather
Since cow hide leather is made from a natural materials and just like human skin it must be moisturize, to maintain the beauty of this leather, please gently wipe and clean every 6 months with a leather genuine cleaner.
In case of dirt or stain: "Dab lightly" with a clean rug and diluted unscented liquid soap with a 1:10 ratio (1part unscented liquid soap is to 10 parts of liquid).
Do not allow the material to soak or use heating gun or hair dryer to dry , let it dry out naturally or wipe the wet part with a clean dry rug.
For storage please store your product in the original dust bag or box and place in a dry place and let your piece breathe outside your storage every 3 months.
Do not store in places where there is direct sunlight and excessive hot areas. ​
Industrial Plastic
Made from mendable and lightweight industrial plastic,
for products made from this material, this is maintained and cleaned by a clean rug and water with 1:10 ratio (1part non scented liquid soap is to 10 parts of liquid) and wipe gently. Do not allow the material to soak in water, this material is not waterproof. You may also use rubbing compound to maintain the shine of the plastic.

For storage, please store your pieces in the provided packaging (ex. box and dust bag)
Veg Tanned Leather

Vegetable tanned leather is created from natural tannins, unlike chrome tanned leather which is tanned from chemicals , this leather is tanned from eco friendly tannins such as the bark of the tree and other sustainable tannins.

Because of the natural nature of veg-tanned leather,
over time it will darken into a beautiful brownish shade when exposed to sunlight, leather conditioner and water thus having a natural patina on its surface.

To maintain the beauty of your veg-tanned pieces, though our pieces are pre-treated with leather protector,
for continuous care you may gently wipe it with a clean rug and leather conditioner to moisturize the leather every 6 months, though keep in mind that conditioning the leather darkens the material slightly.

Incase of contact to superficial stain, we usually recommend to bring your O'EL bags to be cleaned by professional bag cleaners but you may also do the following options below, please note the options below
will darken your leather:
Option 1.) Dab gently with a clean rug dipped with a tiny amount of diluted unscented mild liquid soap and water with 1:10 ratio (1 part of diluted soap is to 10 parts of liquid) it should not be sudsy, and allow to air dry.
Option 2.) Dab gently with a clean rug dipped with a pea amount of diluted lime juice/Calamansi juice (remove the pulp before using) and water, with 1:10 ratio (1 part of diluted lime juice is to 10 parts of water) and allow to air dry.

For proper storage, when your veg-tanned pieces are not in use please store in the provided dust bag with silica gel.
Do not store in excessive hot places and to direct sunlight.

Let your piece breathe outside your storage every 3 months.

Suede
Suede is a type of leather made from the underside of an animal hide. It has a soft and velvety texture. To for your O'EL products with suede it's best to use a specialized suede brush to brush away dirt and debris.
You can also use a mixture of vinegar and water to clean any tough stains or spots. Lastly, keep your suede items away from moisture, as it can cause permanent damage.
Wood
Marine grade plywood, is a material used for home improvements and to create dry walls. This wood is made from strips of layered wooden veneers and made from high quality hard wood such as pine. Unlike other ply wood, Marine grade plywood needs no treatment as such this material is very durable.

To maintain products with this material component
since our products are already varnished, you may gently wipe and clean the surface of the wood with a clean rug and a wood cleaning agent, we recommend using Pledge wood cleaner (do not spray directly on the wood but spray on the clean rug for accurate cleaning and to avoid splashing the cleaning agent on other materials).

For storage, please keep your pieces in the provided packaging (ex. box or canvass pouch). Do not store in direct sunlight and excessive hot places.
